"Penguins, we will be releasing Igloo Likes soon due to requests. This will come with a slight change: Igloo Likes will not be showing up on the igloo maps; this is to remove the competitive feel that Igloo Likes brought in original Club Penguin."

1) Plans For The Submartine Party Revealed!

The team already revealed that this party will be available in February. The first week they will work on it, in addition to that also during that first week the new clothing catalog will arrive, and let's remember that the 4th anniversary is also coming in February. We all know that the account transfer is over, but sadly the igloo music could not be transferred. That is, if you had a song that you loved in your igloo, you will notice that it was sadly removed.

Some time ago Stu posted performance tips on the game's official blog when playing CPR in HTML5!

The advice he gave us were:

The most important performance tip that players will find useful will be to turn their Hardware Acceleration on inside their browser they are using. I would recommend to go into their browser’s settings and then typing in ‘Hardware Acceleration’ and turning it on. Please search online on how to do this specifically with your browser in mind, it is important to be cautious when going inside settings.
Try using a different browser such as Microsoft Edge instead of Google Chrome (if you are having issues with Chrome). Unfortunately, Google Chrome blacklists old hardware and can make it rather laggy in-game if it is outdated.
If you wish to use Google Chrome, we’d recommend to enable the Override Software Rendering List in their about:flags section of their browser, again, you can also search up how to do this specifically with your browser in mind. Please only enable this as a last resort, also make sure that you have hardware enabled.
