II) What is it about?

It is basically a game in which everything is summarized in surfing good waves with your penguin doing lots of tricks to add as many points as possible and earn coins and have fun.

You can also take your red puffle to accompany you.
(Except in survival mode).

Also on the screen you can see your accumulated score and the number of surfboards available (3).

III) Game Modes

A) Surf lesson: This is the game tutorial. Here you will learn the basic tricks and how to play.

B) Freestyle: Here the goal is to have fun and do as many tricks as possible in order to get a high score and win as many coins as possible in addition to trying to improve our ability in the game.

C) Competition: You will enter a competition in which you will have to face three rounds of judges. Each judge will ask you to do a specific trick many times and our mission will be to fill the satisfaction bar of each judge which in the end will determine the punctuation that they give us.

Tip: To get first place the most advisable is that in the three rounds get a minimum score of 8/9 per judge. Also try to do the tricks that ask you quickly and do not lose surfboards.

D) Survival: Here we face a great challenge. We will have to add the large amount of 20,000 points to surfing in the middle of a big storm with small, medium and large icebergs on our way without mentioning the wave we have behind that sometimes it will get much faster. Also when the storm is over you can visualize a shark that will attack you only once, pending if you only have one life left for when you see it.
Tip: Do not do tricks. You must reach 20,000 points per meter traveled. It will take at least 10 minutes so it would be better to have patience and agility in that time.
Tip: Press and hold the left mouse button to recover your balance almost instantly so you don't have to worry about icebergs. It will be much easier for you like that.

IV) List Of Tricks

  • Icebreaker: A + W or ← + ↑
  • Coastal Kick: A + D or ← + →
  • The Blender: S + D or ↓ + →
  • Lazy Wave: S + W or ↓ + ↑
  • Backstand: S + A or ↓ + ←
  • Surf Fever: D + W or → + ↑
  • Shooting the tube: Hold ↓ until reaching the curved part of the wave.
  • Frontflip : Move the mouse in clockwise circles while in the air
  • Backflip: Move the mouse in counter-clockwise circles while in the air
  • Grind: While in the air, pressing mouse pulls your penguin down faster. If you do not stop pressing the button, your penguin will grind when landed.
  • Trick/Grind: Do a trick and leap into the air, then grind.
  • Spin Leap into the air, then do a trick
  • Pressing any W, A, S or D / ←, ↓, → or ↑ in the air lets your penguin do a basic aerial trick. Flipping at the same time increases points.

V) Tips

  • If you bring a red puffle with you, you can get a few more points which may get you a few more coins. You only can get more points by doing tricks in the air. Then your puffle will get you the maximum 3 points. Note that you cannot use this secret in the last game mode, Survival, where you will have to escape from chunks of ice from the Iceberg, as your puffle will refuse to come with the player, probably because your puffle is scared - which is ironic because of the Red Puffle's adventurous, fearless nature. However, it may also be proof that even they have limits.
  • In Freestyle, Survival or Surf Lesson, in the end when the water is going down, try as hard as you can to lose balance and fall (if you still have 1-3 boards left). You will be placed back a little and will not lose any points. Do this until you don't have any more boards.
  • In the survival mode and for some difficult stamps always use mostly the gray board (You get it when you click the letter "A" of the word "Waves" in the game catalog) since it is the best and fastest in the game. Note: In addition to this table there are two others which you can buy in the catalog of the game.

  • This game basically measures your skill and speed with the mouse. It will be easy for you to win some stamps and very difficult to win others. In particular, complete the survival mode which is undoubtedly for experts. Be patient and have fun.
