The 2012
1) New Year's Day 2012 (December 27 - January 5)
The New Year's Day 2012 was an event to celebrate the start of 2012. Fireworks could be seen on the Ski Hill and the Iceberg and many penguins went to the Snow Forts to watch the Clock Tower change '2011' to '2012'.
2) Underwater Expedition (January 26 - January 31)
The Underwater Expedition was a party in Club Penguin. It was first seen in a sneak peek provided by Billybob. Rookie made an appearance in this party because of an EPF Spy Phone message saying he had ideas for it. Also, a news article showed a green penguin wearing Red Sunglasses and a Fish Costume. Since the Town was tilted to the left, a quarter of the Beach and half of the Ski Village were submerged underwater. EPF agents were notified via spy phone to help the citizens of Club Penguin. "Bubble shields" were noted to be placed over the Everyday Phoning Facility, the Ski Lodge, and over the stage inside of the Lighthouse. The bubble shields were being utilized in an effort to prevent water from entering these places.
3) Fashion Show (February 2 - February 14)
The Fashion Show was an event in Club Penguin that occurred from February 1 to February 14, 2012. The event was confirmed in issue 326 of the Club Penguin Times.
4) Rockhopper's Quest (February 14 - March 6)
Rockhopper's Quest was a party in Club Penguin that occurred from February 24 to March 7, 2012. During the party, players could sail to other islands on the Migrator, in order to help set up a beacon on the dangerous Shipwreck Island, for Rockhopper, who wanted to pass by safely. In order to do this, Gary the Gadget Guy helped upgrade the Migrator.
5) Puffle Party 2012 (March 15 - March 27)
The Puffle Party 2012 was the 4th annual Puffle Party in Club Penguin. It took place from March 15 to March 28, 2012. This was the first party to have PH as a mascot. Club Penguin's site and login screen had Club Puffle on it.
6) April Fool's Party 2012 (March 29 - April 3)
The April Fools' Party 2012 was the 7th annual and final April Fools' Party in Club Penguin. Rookie has showed up for the third time in Club Penguin. The entrance to the Box Dimension was located at the Snow Forts. The eight Dimensions from 2011 returned and non-members can access them this year. There were two new Dimensions.
7) Easter Egg Hunt 2012 (April 5 - April 10)
The Easter Egg Hunt 2012 was an event in Club Penguin that began April 5, 2012, and ended on April 11, 2012. The prize for completing the hunt was the Yellow Bunny Ears.
8) Earth Day 2012 (April 19 - April 24)
The Earth Day 2012 was a party in Club Penguin. This party started on April 19 and ended on April 26, 2012. It is the 3rd and final Earth Day Party in Club Penguin.
9) Medieval Party (May 17 - May 30)
The Medieval Party 2012 was a party on Club Penguin, which began on May 17, 2012 and ended on May 30, 2012. During the party the entire island was decorated. All the Knight's Quests were accessible, while the first quest was accessible for Non-Member. Members could also defeat Scorn the Dragon King in a new quest, which was accessible from the Ski Hill.
10) Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2012 (June 14 - July 4)
The Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2012 was a party in Club Penguin, which was held from June 14th, 2012 to July 4th, 2012. It was officially confirmed on the UK website of Club Penguin on May 3, 2012. Aunt Arctic was meetable at this party. It was possible to become a Super Hero, a Super Villain, or a citizen.
This party immediately followed the Meteor Strike, in which a meteor that emitted strange glowing purple energy crashed into the Dock. The Destructobot, powered by the meteor and built by Ultimate Proto-Bot 10000, unleashed a whole wave of villains on the island. The Marvel Catalog and Items For Everyone Catalog were available in the Gift Shop with tons of new items. Club Penguin hosted this party to promote the Marvel movies, The Avengers and The Amazing Spider-Man. Members could suit up as many Marvel Super Heroes.
It also attracted media interest by companies such as USA Today, and Billybob said it was one of the biggest events Club Penguin has ever done. He said the team spent double the hours of work they normally do on this party.
11) Make Your Mark: Ultimate Jam (July 19 - August 1)
The Make Your Mark: Ultimate Jam was a party in Club Penguin, that started on July 19 and ended on August 1, 2012. It was confirmed on the UK Disney Website, then on the What's New Blog.
Disney Channel's characters CeCe and Rocky from the show Shake It Up appeared as mascots at the party. Cadence and the Penguin Band also made appearances during this party. The theme song for this party was The Party Starts Now.
12) Adventure Party: Temple of fruit (August 23 - September 5)
The Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit was a party in Club Penguin that started on August 23, 2012, and ended on September 5, 2012. The island was decorated as a jungle paradise full of palm trees and fruit that Rockhopper brought back from "Innocent Island", and a mysterious temple made of fruit in the jungle waiting for its secrets to be unlocked. Another part of the story for this event was the so-called Cursed Volcano, in which penguins must throw fruit into to destroy it.
The Club Penguin Team partnered with children's smoothie company Innocent Smoothies to make it. The party provided the launch of a new in-world game inspired by the company, named Smoothie Smash, in which players can mix their own smoothies. There was a Temple of Fruit Catalog and a Fruit Scavenger Hunt.
13) Smoothie Smash Grand Opening (August 30 - September 5)
The Smoothie Smash Grand Opening was an event in Club Penguin. It occurred from August 30 to September 5, 2012, during the Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit, after efforts to defeat Big-Big Kahuna. During the event, the Coffee Shop was given a permanent, more modern look, and the Smoothie Smash game was added. There was a huge sign outside the shop in the Town Center that said "GRAND OPENING."
Smoothie Smash was temporarily playable at fruit stands at the Cove, Dock, and Forest during the event.
14) The Fair 2012 (September 20 - October 4)
The Fair 2012 was a party in Club Penguin that occurred in September 2012. It was the 6th Fair in Club Penguin. Unlike past fairs Rockhopper did not visit, because he attended the Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit. It was first confirmed in the Club Penguin Times.
15) Halloween Party 2012 (October 18 - November 1)
The Halloween Party 2012 was a party that occurred from October 18 to November 1, 2012 and was the 8th annual Halloween party. It was confirmed by Polo Field on his Twitter account. Everyone could hunt for ghosts on the island, and members could become ghosts by stepping into Gariwald VIII's invention, the Ghostamatron. In the Haunted Mansion, players needed to find the Five Spooky-Keys that could unlock the Ghost Goggles to enter the Ghost Lab.
Gary the Gadget Guy discovered his long lost uncle's mansion has appeared in the Forest, and he wanted us to help find his great uncle, Gariwald VIII. Gary led ghost hunters into the mansion. They discovered the Ghost Lab and Gariwald as a ghost. Gary discovered that his great uncle did not pass away but rather became a ghost on purpose, using his Ghostamatron. Penguins soon started to use Gariwald's invention to transform themselves into ghosts to haunt the island.

16) 7th Anniversary Party (October 23 - October 25)
The 7th Anniversary Party was a party that celebrated the 7th anniversary of Club Penguin. This was the second time two parties happened at once, the first was the 6th Anniversary Party and the Halloween Party 2011. It was confirmed by Polo Field and in the Club Penguin Magazine.
17) Operation Blackout (November 15 - December 4)
Operation: Blackout was an Elite Penguin Force event that began on November 14, 2012 and ended on December 6, 2012, even though it was originally planned to end on December 4. Rumors had already started in 2011 due to the 'Behind the Scenes' video by Club Penguin containing footage of an employee working on a computer with big, black bold letters on the screen saying Operation: Blackout.On October 11, 2012, Polo Field indirectly teased the event on his personal Club Penguin blog, posting about listening to a track that the team was working on for November.The event was confirmed on Herbert's, Polo Field's and Billybob's Twitter accounts.Operation: Blackout was the first time Herbert made an appearance as a mascot.
18) Holiday Party 2012 (December 20 - January 4)
The Holiday Party 2012 was a party in Club Penguin. It began on the 20th of December, and was confirmed by Polo Field on Twitter. Rockhopper along with Coins for Change returned. Members could buy items from the Holiday Party 2012 Catalog. In the event, players were able to become Reindeer Puffles, Road Racer, or Frost Bite.
