How to Clean Your Cache

Here I explain how to clean your cache and what is this for.

First you have to know what cache works for:

• The cache remembers parts of the pages, such as images, so they open faster when you visit them again.
• The cache When storing our browsing data, it allows the user to visit their websites with greater speed, but it is always good that we empty the cache from time to time, since this process of storing useful data can fail, which may lead to rescue corrupt data, or maybe you can store more than necessary. As a result, we would see a slowdown in browsing speed, denying the very purpose of the cache. Even the browser itself could have problems due to cached data. In summary, it goes without saying that a little maintenance never hurts, so it is advisable from time to time to clear the cache to ensure that it works correctly.

Now that this has to do with the game. Sometimes when updates arrive on the island we cannot see them at the moment. If this happens, you can proceed to clear your cache or just wait a few hours for the update to load into the game.

If you use Internet Explorer 7:

• Open Internet Explorer.
• In the menu bar, click on "Tools."
• Within the "Tools" option click on "Internet Options".
• A small pop-up box will appear on the screen whose first tab is called “General”. Search there for the "Browsing history" section.
• Click on the "Delete ..." button.
• A window with the title “Temporary Internet Files” will appear. Click the "Delete files." Option and then click "Yes."
• Click "Close" on the bottom of the window. Then click "OK" to close the Internet Options window.
• Close the browser and open it again to verify that your cache is clean. Log in once more at Club Penguin Rewritten.

If you have Safari 2.0

• Open the Safari.
• Click on the "Safari" option from the menu at the top of the screen.
• A list of options will be displayed; click on "Preferences."
• Then click on "Empty cache."
• A small pop-up box will open asking you if you are sure you want to empty your cache. Click "Empty."
• Close the browser and open it again to verify that your cache is clean. Log in once more at Club Penguin Rewritten.

If you have Firefox on Windows:

• Open Firefox.
• Click on the "Tools" option.
• located at the top of the screen.
• A menu will be displayed; click on "Options."
• Click on "Privacy."
• Make sure the box next to the "Cache" option is checked.
• Click "Delete now."
• Close the browser and open it again to verify that your cache is clean. Log in once more at Club Penguin Rewritten.

If you use Firefox on Macintosh:

• Open Firefox.
• Click on the "Tools" option.
• located at the top of the screen.
• There you will see a list of items that can be cleaned. Make sure the box next to "Cache" is checked. If you wish, you can uncheck the other elements.
• Click "Delete private data."
• Close the browser and open it again to verify that your cache is clean. Log in once more at Club Penguin Rewritten.

If you use Google Chrome:

• Press Ctrl + H.

Now when you are here you click on the "Clear browsing Data" option.

Now that you are here, this is the configuration that I recommend the most. With that, you clear the cache, cookies and history of the last 24 hours so that the update appears when you load the game. I have always used this configuration and it has always worked for me. If it does not work, try to erase the data of the last 7 days and without problems the update will appear the next time you load the game.
When you have the parameters ready you click on "Clear Data" and ready.

• Tip: If you have passwords saved in the browser write them down. Since the data saved from the last sites you visited will be deleted.
• Tip 2: This clear cache is optional and it is only if you have many problems. Also never erase all the cache since then all sites will load it slower because it is as if you started from scratch.
