1) Festival of Lights | January 23 - January 30.
In issue #141 of the Club Penguin Times, Gary announced that there would be an upcoming eclipse on the island. As a result, many penguins were wondering how to celebrate the event.
According to one penguin, the party-planners were calling this party the Festival of Lights. Later on, Jet Pack Guy was hinted to come for the party in the Club Penguin Times.
All this in the end was fulfilled. And the eclipse arrived on the island. The darkness and the lights made everything beautiful. We went to the highest mountain to contemplate the natural beauty. The music was very relaxing, as if we were in a Super Mario Galaxy galaxy. A great night party!
2) 3rd Anniversary Party | February 9 - February 13
We celebrate the three years of the game. The Town, Coffe Shop and Book Room were decorated beautifully, we blew the anniversary candles, we got our party hat and read the yearbook in addition to enjoying meetings with our moderators and favorite characters!
4) Puffle Party 2020 (February 20 - March 5)
We had a great time. The island was filled with a great adventure. We become our pets and we toured everything. Each puffle had its room and EP visited us. The gray puffle room debuted at the party. Without a doubt one of the biggest parties so far!
5) St Patrick' Day 2020 (March 12 - March 19)
The island turns green and we enjoy St. Patrick's Day. Rockhopper visited us and brought with him rare objects as always.
6) Fashion Show 2020 - (March 19 - March 26)
The Fashion Party is a party in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was announced in issue #149 of the Club Penguin Times. It began on March 19, 2020 and is set to end on March 26, 2020.
During the party, Dot made her first appearance in just over two years, after last visiting the island in March 2018 for the Waddle On Party.
7) April Fools Day 2020 - (March 26 - April 2)
The April Fools' Party 2020 is a party in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was confirmed in issue #150 of the Club Penguin Times and began on March 26, 2020. The party ended on April 2, 2020.
8) Earth Day Party 2020 (April 16 - April 23)
The Earth Day Party 2020 is a party on Club Penguin Rewritten. It was announced in issue #154 of the Club Penguin Times and began on April 16, 2020.
9) Soccer Mommy Concert (April 16)
The Soccer Mommy Concert was an event in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was first announced on March 30, 2020 via the Club Penguin Rewritten Twitter account. It was held on April 16, 2020. It was originally meant to be held on April 2, 2020, but was postponed due to server issues.
The event was accessible on all servers starting from 5pm Pacific Time, and lasted for one hour. Players could begin entering the Concert Hall at around 4:15pm Pacific Time.
The concert was a collaboration between Club Penguin Rewritten and American singer Soccer Mommy and her band in promotion of Soccer Mommy's new album Color Theory. The Club Penguin Rewritten Staff was on the server Crystal to record the event.
The band members consist of Graeme, Julian, Rodrigo, Rollum, and Sophie. Players can obtain a free item from each of the band members' Player Cards.
After the concert, the band held a live q&a at the Concert Backstage with Stu.
10) Penguin Play Awards 2020 (April 23 - May 7)
The Penguin Play Awards 2020 is a party on Club Penguin Rewritten. It was first teased in the fifth Devcast on March 30, 2020 and was confirmed to be held in issue #154 of the Club Penguin Times. Construction for the party began on April 16, 2020, and the party began on April 23, 2020.
Like the Penguin Play Awards 2018, this Penguin Play Awards is presented by the Stage Society to honor the best plays held at the Stage.
11) Summer Bash 2020 (May 17 - May 29)
The Summer Bash was an event in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was a community event hosted by users Hershie and Alisonalison on May 17, 2020 at the Cove at 4pm Eastern Standard Time on the servers Ascent and Crystal.
It was meant to be a one-day event, but the decorations stayed up for longer than intended after the event was held. The event ended on May 29, 2020.
12) Music Jam 2020 (June 12 - June 25)
The Music Jam 2020 was a party in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was confirmed by Hagrid on the What's New Blog on May 9, 2020, and the visiting mascots were also revealed. It eventually began on June 12, 2020 and ended on June 25, 2020.
It was originally scheduled to begin on May 21, 2020, but on May 19, 2020, it was announced that it would be delayed without any specified new date.
On May 30, 2020, Thorn revealed that the Music Jam 2020 would be taking place a week after Instrument Hunt 2020.
12) Medieval Party 2020 (July 24 - August 7)
The Medieval Party 2020 was a party in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was confirmed in issue #166 of the Club Penguin Times and was originally scheduled to begin on July 23, 2020, but did not begin until a day later on July 24, 2020. Construction for the party began on July 16, 2020. The party was originally scheduled to end on August 6, 2020, but actually ended on August 7, 2020.
13) Water Party 2020 (August 20 - August 28)
The Water Party 2020 was a party in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was released on August 20, 2020. It was first confirmed in issue #170 of the Club Penguin Times. Construction for the party began on August 14, 2020. It ended on August 28, 2020.
14) The Fair 2020 (September 29 - October 13)
The Fair 2020 was a party in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was first confirmed on Club Penguin Rewritten's official Twitter account, and its original starting date of September 24, 2020 was revealed in issue #173 of the Club Penguin Times. However due to health issues concerning one of the game's Admins, the party was initially postponed indefinitely.
The party was eventually released on September 29, 2020, five days after the initial release date. The party ended on October 13, five days past its original end date of October 8, to make up for the delay.
15) CP 15th Anniversary (October 23- October 25)
The Club Penguin 15th Anniversary Party was an event on Club Penguin Rewritten. The party, and its scheduled celebration date of October 24, 2020, was confirmed in issue #176 of the Club Penguin Times. The party began on October 23, 2020 and ended on October 25, 2020. The party arrived a day earlier and left a day later than scheduled.
16) Halloween Party 2020 (October 31 - November 12)
The Halloween Party 2020 was a party in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was first confirmed in issue #176 of the Club Penguin Times and began on October 31, 2020. The party ended on November 12, 2020. DJ Maxx and Gary visited with new custom backgrounds.
17) The Great Storm of 2020 (November 12 - N/A)
The Great Storm of 2020 is an event in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was confirmed in issue #180 of the Club Penguin Times and began on November 12, 2020. It is scheduled to last for at least a week or more.
18) Holiday Party 2020 (December 20 - December 31)
The Holiday Party 2020 (also known as the Christmas Party 2020) is a party on Club Penguin Rewritten. It was confirmed in several posts made by the Club Penguin Rewritten Staff team on the official Discord Server.
Construction for the party was set to begin on December 11, 2020, but began a day later on December 12, 2020. The party began on December 20, 2020, in conjunction with Coins for Change 2020. It is scheduled to end on December 31, 2020.
Klutzy made his first appearance as a mascot during the party's construction. This officially makes him the fourth custom mascot in Club Penguin Rewritten. Rockhopper visited during the actual party.
Notably, the party is the first Holiday Party to bring in custom festive puffle hats or outfits for everyone's puffles!
This was how a new year culminated in Club Penguin Rewritten.
