This time we are going to deal with a very sensitive issue. The thing is that recently confirmed a critical filtering of the CPRewritten game data, but this was much earlier than we think, things go back to last year.
In summary these are the facts:

| It all started when on April 10 Troy Hunt (Microsoft Regional Director and MVP for Developer Security) through a tweet wanted to contact the CPRewritten account since they did not respond by mail. So after yesterday he did RT to his tweet respectively. |

| After he manages to contact game administrators and moderators he publishes the following. |

| Hours later Troy Hunt through the twitter account of the website that manages (Have I been Pwned) confirmed that there was a violation of the data comprising: - Emails. - IP addresses. - Usernames and passwords stored. |

| To confirm this information, I have entered the official website. Well, they have an application in which you insert your email to know if there was a filtering of data from it, and indeed it was like that. Nearly 1.7 M accounts were affected. Anyway, you are out of danger if you started playing CPRewritten after January 2018. For those who are before that date, I recommend checking if your data was filtered here: Have I Been pwned?? |
RECOMMENDATION
It's incredible that a problem that happened more than a year ago came to light just yesterday.
The only thing I recommend to those affected is that they change the password of their email and their CPRewritten account. To avoid possible future sabotages to your accounts which can be dangerous and nobody obviously wants to lose the twitter account, facebook, instagram or other social network that you use.
CPRewritten has not reported anything yet so we still do not know what happens to this matter.
